Our Summer Movie is Sing!
(August 5,2017 Chicago, IL) On Saturday, August 19 at dusk (about 8 PM), it's time again to relax on the lawn in the summer evening, with popcorn, and Unity's summer movie, Sing! UPAC and the Chicago Park District present our annual summer movie at part of our Night Out in the Parks series.
We will have popcorn for all for free, so come on out and watch Ash and Buster and their friends sing along to Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande!
We will also have a sneak preview of this fall's Midnight Circus in the Parks hosted by the Unity and Kosciusko Park Advisory Councils!
Yoga, Pilates, and Play with Rolling Rec!
Tula Yoga Studio to offer free classes
The Unity Park Advisory Council is proud to offer Yoga in the Park as part of its Summer Fitness in the Park series for 2017. Instructors from Tula Yoga Studio will offer classes as follows. Saturdays 10 AM (weather permitting) 6/24 7/8, 7/22 8/5, 8/26 9/16
Classes will last an hour. Please bring your own mat, towel, and water. Note that the bathrooms do not open until 11 AM.
"We are thrilled to once again have our friends at Tula Yoga Studio offering FREE yoga classes at Unity. The classes provide a FREE fitness option for residents to participate in and they take place in a great open air setting. Our hope is to see dozens of people doing yoga every Saturday at the park!" added Robert Castillo, UPAC Director of Development.
Free Pilates classes from Frog Temple Pilates Inc.
UPAC also offers Pilates in the Park this Summer as part of its Summer Fitness series. The series kicked off on 6/17. Instructors from Frog Temple Pilates Inc. as follows.

Play with Rolling Rec!
Rollin' Rec, the Chicago Park District's mobile recreation vehicle, will be at Unity Park every Tuesday & Thursday afternoons offering a host of activities for all ages. Each visit, Rollin' Rec will have new activities so plan on being there to see what new activities Rollin' Rec has in store for you! Now through August 10 Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 - 3:30 PM
