Art in the Park's Theme is Sanctuary - This Saturday!

Art in the Park - 2017- theme Sanctuary (July 11, 2017 Chicago, IL) Our annual community art festival is this Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 10 AM to 2 PM! The rain date is the next day, Sunday July 16, 10 AM to 2 PM. Everyone, all ages and skill levels, especially the children, is invited to this free event to create art at one of the many stations.

Local artists including collective AnySquared and Amie Sell will be there, leading projects under this year's theme: "Sanctuary." We will depict what Sanctuary means to us as a collective in a group project. Come and express your thoughts about a safe place for everyone - to live, work, play, and grow to their full potential!

Materials will be provided while supplies last, but event-goers are also welcome to bring some from home.

This year's sponsors include Unity Park Advisory Council, Chicago Park District, AnySquared, Ald. Carlos Ramirez Rosa (35th ward), Liberty Bank, Vicki Logan Design and Rep. Will Guzzardi (IL 39).

Come work with us to put on this event! Email if you can help out!
