Pumpkinfest is this Saturday!

Post date: Nov 14, 2015 2:30:11 PM

Save the date - Saturday, October 24, 10 AM - 2 PM! That's when the kids roam the pumpkin patch at our annual fall classic, Pumpkinfest. So here's a flyer, tell everyone you know!

In the event of heavy rain, Pumpkinfest will be Sunday, October 25, 10 AM - 2 PM. Please watch this space and our Facebook or Twitter for any rain date announcements.

Dress up the lil' ones (and yourself!) for a costume parade at noon, serenaded with samba by the Chicago Drum Battery!

DJ Victor Montanez will spin the vinyl, joined this year by DJ Houzslippa!

Score with the Chicago Hockey Initiative's Puck-in-fest!

And always pumkpkins and pumpkin-decorating!

Face-painting and popcorn! Danztheater art, calligraphy... and we're adding even more...

All free to all!

Pumpkinfest 2015!

We're the Best of Logan Square!

We are thrilled that Unity Park has been selected as a Best of Logan Square honorable mention for Best Park! Additionally, the Unity Park Advisory Council won an honorable mention for Best Community Group! The LoganSquarist Best of Logan Square showcases the best that Logan Square has to offer, from parks to panaderias to politicians. Not your typical awards survey, the neighbors determine their favorites and say what they love most about the neighborhood -- fave watering holes, go-to shopping stops and must-sees on personal neighborhood tours with friends and family. With over 70 categories and 127 winners, this is a wonderful resource, and you can read the full 2015 Best of Logan Square article, other categories and recipients on the LoganSquarist website.
